Mission Trip to Catacocha, Ecuador!
Timeframe: March 2nd, 2018 to March 11th, 2018
This is my post about my mission trip to Catacocha, Ecuador with the college ministry with my church. While in Ecuador, we are helping run a four day Bible camp. We also want to continue to build a relationship with the people of Catacocha, Ecuador. For the past thirteen years, my church has partnered with a man named Victor and his wife, Paola, with their ministry involving students in Catacocha. The biggest need within this community of people is for them to feel loved and cared for. Jesus calls us to look after the orphans and to love our neighbors. By going on this mission trip, I hope to fulfill this calling. I’m excited about this trip because I will be equipped in ways I’ve never experienced before. I cannot think of a better opportunity to grow and help others grow in God’s word. I hope to become a mentor to the girls in my cabin.
~ Encourage missionaries by providing supplies and assistance in their ministry to the children and youth of Catacocha.
~ Equip teenagers in the word of God by leading a four-day camp.
~Extend our work in Ecuador to one of the fastest growing segments of society- teenagers.
Want to pray for my team and me?
If you’d like to pray for myself or the team I’ll be going with, we would be extremely grateful. You can pray for those of us who are still fundraising the cost of the trip which is over $1,000. You can pray for those of us who have never been on a mission trip before. You can pray that we can evangelize the surrounding community while there. There is a multitude of things you can pray for us.
Want to Donate?
If you’d like to donate to the funding of my mission trip, You can go to my GoFundMe page and donate as much as you’d like or are able to afford.
