how to shape your eyebrows

There is three ways to shape your eyebrows. Each has their pros and cons. Threading is something I like because after a couple of weeks I can pluck the hairs that are growing back in.

So we will start off with waxing. Waxing is when you get wax put on the hair you want removed and you take a paper like strip and firmly press it on the waxed area. Then you pull it off. In my opinion, It hurts like all methods. I have seen that it leaves the skin looking red and irritated. If you have sensitive skin, I would avoid that method as it involves stretching and pulling the skin.

Waxing horror story: I actually got burned by a women who waxed my eyebrows in December of 2015. The woman was really nice but clearly she should not be waxing or needs more practice.

Plucking you generally take tweezers and pull the hair one by one. It doesn’t leave it red but it hurts. Not going to lie to you! Generally I do this to maintain my eyebrows after I get them threaded. You just need a good pair of tweezers and a steady hand for this one.

Threading. It sounds bad but it’s not as bad. I like it because someone else does it and it is relatively cheap. When I got I done it was twelve dollars. It hurts a bit but not too bad. Nothing that a strong will can’t handle. I like how polished my eyebrows looked afterwards. They weren’t red at all and the method was extremely sterile. They take to pieces of thread and pull out some hairs. This leaves for a very defined look. I would suggest saying natural for your first threading and then slowly changing the shape depending on what you want.
